Mission: To meet the workforce needs of employers and individuals through partnerships and innovations

The Lane Workforce Partnership is a workforce development organization dedicated to assisting employers recruit and retain employees, and to help individuals find employment and progress in their careers.

We work with over 450 employers in Lane County and over 5,000 Lane County residents annually. The Lane Workforce Partnership is overseen by a board of directors (the majority from business). The board is made up of representatives from business, labor, community-based organizations, state agencies and local government.

The Lane Workforce Partnership sets policy direction and oversees workforce development programs under the Workforce Investment Act. In addition, we are the prime contractor for the JOBS welfare-to-work program.

We are challenged to keep sharpening your workforce edge in a competitive economy, whether you are seeking an employee or seeking employment. As the leader in addressing your workforce needs, the Lane Workforce Partnership created The Workforce Network, a "command center" where businesses and job seekers, adults and youth, can receive a wide range of services.

Business services, through The Workforce Network, can assist your business with its staffing, recruitment, and training needs. The Workforce Network also provides tools to aid job seekers in such areas as job search, job placement, skills enhancement and training.
