RFP – Lane Workforce Partnership Announces New RFP for Regional Innovation Training

Approximately $150,000 will be available to Lane County businesses, labor organizations and private non-profit organizations.

The Lane Workforce Partnership and Lane County Community and Economic Development Department are seeking organizations that are interested in applying for these training funds made available through the State of Oregon’s Sector Strategies Funding and the Lane County Community and Economic Development Department’s video lottery funds.

The funding is to address the critical need to invest in human capital, build innovation talent, and bring new technologies to market in the Lane County area. The emphasis of the funds is to upgrade skills of the private sector workforce in order to increase productivity, keep Lane County businesses viable and competitive, and to offer new skills and opportunities to Lane County’s workers. The proposals should be focused on the advancement of technologies capabilities or increasing innovation.
