WHAT IS WORKNET?

WorkNet is a business service provided through The Workforce Network, an initiative of the Lane Workforce Partnership.

A monthly network exchange, WorkNet provides employers with the opportunity to anounce job openings, and people looking for jobs to highlight their skills and abilities.

WHO MAKES IT HAPPEN?

The Lane Workforce Partnership created and continues to facilitate the growth and development of WorkNet.

BENEFITS TO YOUR BUSINESS:

  • Connect with motivated job seekers
  • Broadcast current and future job openings
  • Access resumes
  • Network with other businesses and workforce organizations
  • Share job openings with over 200 employment professionals

HOW DOES IT WORK?

WorkNet is a short, professional forum, with a well-run agenda that includes:

  • Recruiting Exchange: businesses broadcast current and future job openings.
  • Live Resumes: motivated job seekers give quick summaries of their goals, skills and experience.
  • Announcements: find out about special services and events relevant to finding and keeping employees.

WHEN AND WHERE DOES WORKNET HAPPEN?

WorkNet meets monthly, every second Wednesday, from 7:30 am - 8:45 am. Forums are hosted by various businesses and agencies throughout Lane County.
