A statewide manufacturing group will help Lane County food and beverage processing companies comply with the federal Food Modernization Safety Act, which sets new safety standards. The nonprofit Oregon Manufacturing Extension Partnership is organizing 12-part training sessions to help small- to medium-size food and beverage processors meet new federal rules, including the development of food safety plans.
