Lane Workforce Partnership, the local Workforce Development Board for Lane County’s workforce investment system, is required by the US Department of Labor (USDOL) to submit a four-year Plan for Adult/Dislocated Worker and Youth programs under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014. The draft Plan for 2020 – 2024 has been completed and is ready for a public review and comment period.
The Plan contains operational and compliance plans for services that are delivered in an integrated manner at WorkSource Lane locations. It reflects Oregon’s integration Workforce Service Delivery System that includes partner agencies, and encompasses policy direction from the Lane Workforce Partnership Board of Directors, the Governor, and the Oregon Workforce Investment Board.
The Plan is developed with input from WorkSource Lane partner agencies as well as from business, labor, economic development, and education representatives.
