Future Ready Oregon/ Prosperity 10K Investment Award Summaries

The Oregon Prosperity 10,000 program is a forward-thinking initiative aimed at driving growth and prosperity in Lane County. Its primary focus is on bolstering Lane County’s private sector businesses and human capital. A direct response to the pressing demands of various industries, it aims to eliminate barriers and enhance the skills of the workforce through upskilling and retraining initiatives.

To achieve these objectives, LWP implemented two strategic and targeted investment approaches. The Customized Training Solutions for Lane County Businesses was designed to address the specific workforce development needs of local businesses by providing skill-enhancing training opportunities for both new and incumbent employees. By aligning training programs with the specific requirements of the industries, businesses can harness the full potential of their workforce and stay ahead in the competitive market.

Industry-wide Employer Training served as a valuable resource that empowered employers to deliver or facilitate targeted training sessions that aligned with their engagement efforts. The training sessions aimed to bolster engagement within the workforce, leading to the recruitment and retention of a highly-skilled and motivated workforce.

Through these multifaceted initiatives, the Oregon Prosperity 10,000 program is actively nurturing the economic landscape of Lane County, creating opportunities for businesses and individuals alike to excel and contribute to the region’s overall prosperity.

Lane Workforce Partnership experienced an overwhelming response with the number of applications surpassing the available funding for these projects. The application process is now closed. However, we encourage you to stay connected and periodically check back for upcoming opportunities. We remain committed to supporting and facilitating future initiatives that contribute to the growth and prosperity of our community.
