Governor Kitzhaber remarked on the Oregon Employment Department’s state labor market report released today. With an addition of 11,200 jobs in November, employment is at the highest level ever with 1,740,800 Oregonians at work. This is also the largest one-month gain since comparable records began in 1990.
“When I took office in 2011, Oregon faced a number of historic economic challenges. Today, nearly four years later, we’ve reached a key milestone. Now, we must double down on this unprecedented opportunity and progress.
